Current data handling
- No account is required.
- Calculator entries, checklist progress, and optional browser-local saves are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded to Hawaiʻi Home Wise servers unless a page explicitly says otherwise.
- Property research notes stay local unless you choose “Save in this browser.” Opening an official government site is a separate interaction with that agency.
- The reserved corrections address is not receipt-tested and no public form is connected. Do not send personal or property information until the contact status confirms a working channel.
Analytics
When analytics is enabled in site configuration, Hawaiʻi Home Wise uses Plausible Analytics on hawaiihomewise.com to understand page views and coarse tool events such as tool started, tool completed, result category, official-source clicks, and commercial or directory exits.
- Plausible does not use cookies and does not track users across sites.
- Events must not include street addresses, TMKs, free-text messages, account numbers, or other sensitive personal data.
- If analytics is disabled in configuration, the vendor script is not loaded.
- Google Analytics 4 may be used instead if the site configuration is switched to
provider: 'ga4'with a real measurement ID; IP anonymization would be requested when GA4 is active.
Cloudflare may provide aggregate page-traffic analytics and hosting logs at the delivery layer. Search Console may show search queries, impressions, and clicks after ownership is connected. Those systems are controlled by Cloudflare and Google under their own policies.
Advertising and forms
Display ads and third-party inquiry capture tools are not currently wired. If they are added later, this privacy page will name the provider, purpose, and how to request deletion before the feature is treated as live.
Cookies and local storage
Browser localStorage may store checklist state, planning-packet email queue entries you choose to keep locally, or shortlists you choose to keep. Plausible does not set analytics cookies. Google Analytics cookies may be set only if GA4 is enabled in configuration. You can clear site data in your browser settings.
Contact and provider-pilot status
No receipt-tested public privacy inbox or form is currently claimed. See the contact status. The separate provider-research page does not collect business details, homeowner requests, or personal data.
